E Baxter Evans – President Mr. Evans, grew up in Macon, GA. He received a B.A. Degree from Auburn University in 1963 and then served as a U.S. Naval Officer until 1965, at which point he entered the real estate profession. Engaging in brokerage, development and management services related to commercial and investment properties with emphasis on major sales or acquisitions for unique client needs, Mr. Evans has completed extensive professional course study involving: real estate investment and development, exchange, taxation, property management, asset management and syndication.
With a CCIM designation (Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute) since 1979 and the CPM® designation (Institute of Real Estate Management) attained in 1986 Mr. Evans has acted as asset manager for a substantial portfolio of syndicated and personal holdings over some 40 years. He is the past President of the Macon Board of Realtors (1977), past Director of the Georgia Association of Realtors and Kiwanis Club of Macon, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Macon Salvation Army. He has also served in leadership for The Georgia Industrial Children’s Home and First Presbyterian Day School. Mr. Evans is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Macon and is ordained as an Elder within the Presbyterian Church of America.
Maida Evans – Office Administrator
Maida Evans – Office Administrator Mr. Evans’ wife of 52 years, Maida, has always been an integral member of his support team and is indispensable to Baxter Evans & Company’s success. For several years she was a licensed agent, managing one of the company’s apartment complexes. Today Mrs. Evans assists with research, presentation packages, office and bookkeeping administration as well as many other key support duties.
Additionally, Mrs. Evans is a current and past board member of several local organizations, a master Gardener and a Bible study leader in her neighborhood’s Bible study group, Women of the Word.
